I went to Yellowstone yesterday, and saw this coyote far off in a field. I stopped my car to take some photos, and she ran right up to me (I was approximately in the median, and she was on the edge of the road). I wasn't expecting that, haha.
Since the EXIF data appears to be gone, I used an EOS 40D, EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS, and the EF 1.4x extender. It was fully zoomed out, at f/4. It was also ISO 1600 and 1/30 exposure.
I think bad copy fears are a little over hyped, it does happen but not often. If you have any questions or doubts about your lens within the first year be sure to send it in to get serviced.
hahaha how cute!! I wish that would happen to me...-_- i'd probably giggle like a hyena and proceed to get on my knees and pet and hug the coyote haha.
Such soft, sweet looking eyes. Not to mention the sharpness and colors are just amazing!
Hehe, it was definitely really fun for it to come up so close to me, being a wild animal and all. I'm pretty sure the coyote wouldn't have run off if I tried to pet it, too!
I'm really glad you like this photo, she was very photogenic.
